This collection consists of three items. The first is a photograph of Hilda Pauline Rosengard at the piano, taken at her home in Roxbury, MA. The other two items
are related. One is a fundraising letter dated May 13, 1927 that was sent to NEC alumni asking for financial support for a new Conservatory building. This letter was accompanied by a booklet entitled Mater Musica : the New England Conservatory of Music 1867-1927 (printed to commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of NEC).

*Included with the collection are two pieces of correspondence relating to its donation.
*Further materials relating to Hilda Rosengard may be found in the 1919 class yearbook and possibly in the concert programs from the years she attended NEC.
*Additional copies of Mater Musica are cataloged individually and shelved in the Archives.
