Career Workshops

Interested in developing skills to advance your career while sharing knowledge with your colleagues? Our Career Workshop Series offers practical advice, contacts, and information for musicians. With expert panelists leading the discussions, workshops provide a forum for participation, networking, and peer learning. Topics include legal issues, web presence, publicity, fundraising, performance health, tax strategies, and more. All are welcome. On-Campus Auditions

Looking to take local auditions? NEC is pleased to host festivals, local orchestras, and other organizations auditioning musicians, as space allows. Click here to view our calendar of upcoming auditions. Organizations interested in scheduling auditions at NEC should email us their preferred dates.

Need help with your résumé, bio, web site, or promotional materials? Have a project in mind, but not sure how to realize it? Career Services Center staff are available to meet one-on-one with NEC students and alumni. We'll help explore your ideas and goals, and think through the steps you can take to move forward.
