Christopher Johnson '06 Wins Orchestral Bass Competition

Congratulations to Christopher Johnson ’06 who just won first prize in the Orchestral section of the International Society of Bassists Competition, held during the Society’s 2013 Convention June 2—8 at the Eastman School of Music. Chris, an alumnus of Project STEP who studied at NEC with Donald Palma and then received his Master’s at the Manhattan School, won a paid week of performance with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
