Morningside Music Bridge String Orchestra Concert

| New England Conservatory

Morningside Music Bridge in partnership with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra celebrates its 21st year, and to mark this milestone, this summer it will shift from its home in Calgary to New England Conservatory in Boston, 6 July to 4 August 2017. The program features distinguished faculty and alumni of the program—now international musical leaders—to help inspire the world’s next generation of great artists.

Morningside Music Bridge embodies the highest international standards of excellence in training, bringing together outstanding young violin, viola, cello, and piano students ages 12–18 for a month of intensive study and extensive solo and chamber music performance opportunities.

Our young musicians perform in memorable public venues, participate in Morningside Music Bridge’s prestigious concerto competition and chamber music concerts, and bond with one another through the exquisite language of music.

The grand finale of Morningside Music Bridge's first summer at New England Conservatory is tonight's string orchestra concert featuring the world premiere of a new work by composer Vincent Ho, led by Earl Lee, Resident Conductor of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
