In keeping with the American theme of A Feast of Music 2013, New England Conservatory is partnering with Chef Joachim Splichal, one of the pioneers of "California Cuisine," who will design and execute the menu that accompanies the evening's musical performances.

Beyond the acclaim his culinary inventions have garnered, Splichal is noteworthy for his consistent efforts to partner with major artistic institutions in siting his burgeoning family of restaurants. These now span the U.S., from Patina, in the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Disney Hall, to Grand Tier at the Metropolitan Opera and Lincoln Ristorante at the heart of Lincoln Center's inventively renovated plaza.
Splichal's participation in A Feast of Music will be his first Boston venture.
