Under the direction of Hugh Wolff, Stanford and Norma Jean Calderwood Director of Orchestras (in photo), the program has produced such hot young stars as Joshua Weilerstein, now assistant conductor of the New York Philharmonic and Aram Demirjian, assistant conductor of the Kansas City Symphony.
