Fire protection work on second floor; roof, mechanical shafts work continues in St. Botolph Building
Here is the two-week construction look-ahead for June 11—25:
Starting on Monday, June 16, our fire protection contractor will be working on the second floor of the St. Botolph Building, installing piping in the hallways and in offices that are currently not occupied. In occupied offices, work will be scheduled in coordination with the occupants so as to minimize inconvenience and disruption. Not all areas on the second floor will require work.
On the roof, steel fabrication and installation of steel framing will continue. Work in the mechanical shafts is ongoing. Starting Monday, the focus will be on constructing the fire-rated shaft walls.
We ask that anyone using the parking lot exercise caution as deliveries of material will be increasing over the next two weeks.
