The Young Women's Chorale is a select intermediate ensemble comprised of sopranos and altos in grades 8-10. This ensemble performs a wide variety of challenging choral repertoire for women's voices in up to 4 parts. Additionally, the instruction in YWC focuses on healthy vocal production and the improvement of essential musicianship skills. Entrance to the Young Women's Chorale is by audition, and selected students may have the option to dual-enroll in either Children's Chorus or Youth Chorale (entrance also by audition).
Rehearsals: Saturday 1:00 - 2:00 pm in Saint Botolph G13
First Rehearsal: September 15, 2012
Auditions: September 8, 2012

Auditions Requirements: Any two songs of your choice.

Absence Requests
Please submit an Absence Request Form to Rebecca Wright, Student Chorus Manager or Lisa Husseini, Concert Ensemble Manager. Requests need to be submitted at least two weeks before the date of absence. We urge you to submit requests as soon as you know about them so that there is plenty of time for them to be approved. All absences must be approved by the NEC Prep Office, prior to the absence date.
You may submit it in using one of the following methods:
- Print and hand deliver to the Prep Office at 241 St. Botolph Street, Room SB 120.
