  1. 7:00 PM | Frank Carlberg Mingus Ensemble

    This ensemble explores the music of composer/bassist/pianist Charles Mingus in preparation for his centennial celebration in 2022.

  2. 8:15 PM | Frank Carlberg Ensemble

    In this ensemble the students are encouraged to bring in original compositions to be workshopped in the rehearsals. The group also plays music from a wide variety of sources including classic works and pieces by contemporary masters.

  3. 9:30 PM | Cecil McBee Ensemble

    The Cecil McBee Ensemble plays a variety of music including student originals and arrangements, as well as McBee's originals and arrangements. He also stresses the importance of standard repertoire and traditional playing.
