Dr. Oral Moses Master Class

In this masterclass, bass-baritone, researcher and educator Dr. Oral Moses will coach graduate students from Song Lab and the theory course, “African American Spirituals: Context and Analysis” in performance practices for two Spiritual choral works. These artists are preparing these works for a concert performance taking place on February 15th.  The singers will be conducted by students in the choral conducting program at NEC. Audience members will learn alongside the performers what performance practice elements are essential to engage when seeking to prepare meaningful and informed performances of the Spirituals repertoire.
