Recital: Aadam Ibrahim '23 MM, Viola

NEC: Keller Room | Directions

290 Huntington Ave.
Boston, MA
United States

NEC's students meet one-on-one each week with a faculty artist to perfect their craft. As each one leaves NEC to make their mark in the performance world, they present a full, professional recital that is free and open to the public. It's your first look at the artists of tomorrow.

Aadam Ibrahim '23 MM studies Viola with Kim Kashkashian.

This is an in-person event with a private stream available to the NEC community here:

  4. I would like to thank everyone for attending my recital from the bottom of my heart,
but most of all I would like to thank my dear teacher, Kim Kashkashian.

After 2 years of solitude over a global pandemic, I could never imagine having the opportunity to find so much inspiration and so much guidance both in music and in how to live life.  You have helped me to find purpose  and to find ways to mend old injuries.  You have and will continue to be an idol of mine from childhood; working with you has been an honor and a blessing that I hope to be worthy of.  May God smile upon you for many more years to come, for the sake of your own happiness and fulfillment and for the sake of all those who have been and continue to be inspired by your example.

To everyone who has supported me on this journey I give my warm thanks.

May we all cross paths many more times in the not too distant future.
