Recital: Hyelim Kong '23 MM, Viola

NEC: Keller Room | Directions

290 Huntington Ave.
Boston, MA
United States

NEC's students meet one-on-one each week with a faculty artist to perfect their craft. As each one leaves NEC to make their mark in the performance world, they present a full, professional recital that is free and open to the public. It's your first look at the artists of tomorrow.

Hyelim Kong '23 MM studies Viola with Nicholas Cords.

This is an in-person event with a private stream available to the NEC community here:

I want to say thank you to Professor Nicholas Cords. You always inspire me and help me to hear and love my sound. I am amazed every time I hear your beautiful and brilliant sound in my lesson. Thank you always for your effort, interest and inspiration.

And to Professor Mai, thank you for giving me love and attention. You gave me confidence which helped me improve as a violist. I will always remember the time we had during my first year studying at NEC.

Finally, I want to thank the audience for coming and making time for my recital. I hope you enjoy your time.
