Register for Prep

Once you have been placed in a Prep activity or activities, your next step will be to reserve your place by registering and paying an initial deposit, or the full tuition amount. All registrations and payments are processed in our student information system ActiveNet, which is a separate site from the Parent/Guardian Application Portal. Registration and payment is completed by placing your courses into the ActiveNet shopping cart. Courses may be found by one of two methods:

  • Following the direct link to your placed courses found in your placement letter
  • Searching for the course in ActiveNet

* Students may only register for courses they have received a placement for. Students who are registered for a course they have not applied for and been placed in will be withdrawn and payments will be refunded.


Upon registration, families must either pay their tuition balance in full, or pay an initial deposit and enroll in a monthly payment plan. Tuition deposits will cover:

  • Private lessons: 15% of tuition
  • Classes and ensembles: $300 per course

* In addition to lesson/course tuition, a $50 registration fee will be charged once per student per academic year. Private lesson students will also be charged a $30 evaluation fee, which covers the cost of end-of-year evaluations.
