Start out right with the Preparatory Chorus! Open to singers ages 6-9, with little or no former experience, we ensure our students build a foundation of healthy vocal production and aural skills through developmentally appropriate vocal activities and repertoire.
I Want to Sing
Young singers at NEC get a very special kind of training. We offer voice lessons and choruses, as well as classes in jazz, musical theatre, rock, world music, and Contemporary Improvisation (CI).
Your child can enter at any level of musical training. Younger singers can begin by participating in a chorus or one of our Preparatory Voice Classes. Older singers generally start with lessons, chorus, and/or any of our voice department classes. Because our programs are à la carte, you can map out a unique learning experience.
