Preparatory Chorus
The Preparatory Chorus is an introductory chorus, open by placement audition to singers ages 6-8 who have little or no former choral experience. Students build a foundation of healthy vocal production and aural skills through developmentally-appropriate vocal activities and repertoire. Students perform in two concerts yearly. Students must have text-reading ability.

About the Children's Choruses
Three choruses are offered in this integrated program, which is designed to supplement early instrumental studies and the music theory program as well as teach early to advanced choral technique. The choruses are open to singers from ages 6 to 14 with unchanged treble voices. Each student will have an individual meeting with the director for appropriate placement in the program.
