Jazz Ear Training I

Placement for this class is done during the Jazz Placement auditions. Emphasis is on ear identification, vocal imitation, and rhythmic development. This class is strongly recommended for instrumentalists who need to make a stronger connection to what they hear when they improvise, instead of just playing preconceived phrases.
