Callithumpian Consort + [nec]shivaree at Symphony Hall: Ligeti
As part of its celebration of the 100th birthday of György Ligeti, one of the pioneering composers of the 20th century, the Boston Symphony Orchestra presents a series of free concerts highlighting his impact on music. NEC's Callithumpian Consort and [nec]shivaree join the Meraki Quartet for one such concert on Monday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Symphony Hall. Following this performance, audiences may hear Ligeti's Poème Symphonique for 100 metronomes in the Cabot-Cahners Room.
