7:00 pm - NIESKE Jazz Ensemble

Bob Nieske coaches ensembles in which he encourages students to compose music for the group. The ensemble also performs jazz standards and Bob Nieske originals.

8:15 pm - ZALESKI JAZZ ENSEMBLE

The Mark Zaleski ensemble will focus on developing collaboration skills of its members through study and performance of a combination of original repertoire and music of different eras of the jazz and contemporary music canon.  Development of an original style and sound is the ensemble’s primary objective, from a group and individual standpoint.

9:30 pm - Morris Ensemble

This ensemble features students’ original compositions, standards with a creative approach, and avant-garde pieces. Morris also teaches the students a structured approach to free-playing.
