Masterclass: Sara Serpa

Join the Jazz department for a masterclass with guest artist-in-residence, Sara Serpa. Serpa will give a masterclass on Mental Preparation for Performance and the Ensemble as a Team. 

In this masterclass, she will ask the question, "how can we better prepare for a performance? We have been practicing for years, months, days and hours and yet when we get to the band stand something happens and lose focus." This conversation will focus on strategies and common struggles musicians often face when performing live, either alone or with an ensemble.
