Shape the future of NEC!

Students, alumni, faculty, and staff: NEC needs your ideas! Help kick off the NEC Collaboration Challenge by attending one or both hackathon sessions for creative ideation. Whether your idea is revolutionary or evolutionary, complex or simple—we want to hear it!

About the Hackathon:

Work in small groups to develop ideas that will shape the future of NEC. Together, we'll think expansively and brainstorm energetically in this dynamic kickoff to the NEC Collaboration Challenge, which runs through January 30, 2020.

Fri, Nov 22 | Hackathon Session 1: Inspiration
2 – 5 p.m.

What do students really need? We'll use tools and exercises to test our hypotheses and make sure that our ideas will need those needs.

Sat, Nov 23 | Hackathon Session 2: Ideation
10 – 1 p.m.

How do we systematically generate novel ideas? We'll engage in free-flow brainstorming, determine top ideas, and plan for possible pivots that each idea might need in order to be viable.
