New England Conservatory NOW (NEC NOW) is a newly formed, inclusive community made up of vibrant young professionals dedicated to sharing NEC’s cultural and social impact throughout the city of Boston.
NEC NOW invites you to:
Attend NEC NOW events
Join the NEC NOW community at unique in-person and virtual events throughout the year. NEC NOW events reinvent the usual narrative around classical music performances while giving audiences behind the scenes access to incredible musicians.
Participate in the NEC NOW funding opportunity
Impact the world of music and the world through music by supporting the NEC NOW annual fund. This year, NEC NOW's goal is to fulfill two Entrepreneurial Musicianship (EM) Grant Awards for current students and two EM Spark Alumni awards for NEC alumni.
The EM Grant funds innovative and impactful projects and helps to develop skills critical to the success of NEC students, such as: communicating a vision, creating a production plan, developing a marketing strategy, and balancing budgets. The competitive application process is modeled on real-world grants. Students are coached by the EM Team through every step of their application, from the first draft to the final pitch.
*Under "In Support Of", select "Other" from the drop down menu. A text box will appear - please write in "EM NEC NOW Fund". Continue to fill out the rest of the form.
