Recital: Hyeon Hong '24 MM, Violin
NEC's students meet one-on-one each week with a faculty artist to perfect their craft. As each one leaves NEC to make their mark in the performance world, they present a full, professional recital that is free and open to the public. It's your first look at the artists of tomorrow.
Hyeon Hong '24 MM studies Violin with Donald Weilerstein.

Two years at New England Conservatory have changed my life a lot. I have become more certain about what I want to do and how I want to play. I have also become more sincere and passionate about playing music and sharing it with others. This change has happened because of the wonderful people around me, and I would like to express my appreciation.
I would like to thank my family and friends who have supported me and helped me to grow not only as a musician but also as a person.
Additionally, I am deeply grateful to my amazing two pianists, Shalun and Hyunjin.
I would want to give my special thanks to Mr. Weilerstein, who has always inspired me and warmed my heart. Since meeting you, I have begun to approach music with even greater sincerity.
I am also thankful to Stefan Jackiw and Daniel Chong, who have inspired me this semester and ignited my passion for music.
