Recital: Lexine Feng '24, Cello
NEC's students meet one-on-one each week with a faculty artist to perfect their craft. As each one leaves NEC to make their mark in the performance world, they present a full, professional recital that is free and open to the public. It's your first look at the artists of tomorrow.
Lexine Feng '24 studies Cello with Laurence Lesser and is the recipient of a scholarship made possible by the Students House Scholarship Fund and the Gregor Piatigorsky Fund.
This is an in-person event with a private stream available to the NEC community here: https://necmusic.edu/live

To my teacher, Mr. Lesser:
Thank you for your generosity in sharing your endless wisdom and guidance, not just in cello playing but in life as well. Your kindness and encouragement have helped me grow and find my voice, and I'm extremely grateful to have had this opportunity to study with you in my musical journey.
To my mom and dad:
Thank you for always being by my side and believing in me. You have been my biggest supporters from day one, and I would not be here today without your constant love and care for me in every way.
To my collaborators, Davis and Ji Yung:
Thank you for performing with me and making this recital possible. I'm continually inspired by your musical passion and artistry, and it's been a joy and privilege to make music with you.
To my friends, family, and mentors:
Thank you for being there for me and cheering me on through every step of my journey at NEC. My time in Boston has been so meaningful because of your care and support, and I will deeply cherish the bonds and memories we share.
